This was done as part of the Chadds Ford Historical Society's Paint Out. Every year CFHS sponsors this paint-out on the first weekend in February. Usually the weather is miserable - this year however it was in the 60's. You drive by this group of houses on the way to the CFHS headquarters, and I was struck by the vivid red in the metal roof - it must be brand new because it was really RED. The other thing about this time of year is the crispness of color and the long shadows that appear all day long.
