This is a view around the corner from my house - something I pass everyday. What interested me in this view of my neighbor's house was the shadow from the second floor railing - it made a strong diagonal line down the side of the house. I painted this on Thanksgiving day and completed it in one sitting - it was a warm day as you can see by the light on the house.
