Savage is a historic mill town in southern Howard County. Besides the mill which has been renovated into shops, galleries, and restaurants, the original worker houses are still intact. Most of these houses haven't been renovated and reflect the character of a working community. This row of houses interested me with the repeating row of porches and architectural elements. I like the way the flag is reflected in the storm door of the house closest to the foreground. The pops of orange from the chimney and the flags help to break up all the white and green.
